Dr. David Y. Chow graduated from the University of Western Ontario before attending Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. He completed a general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and stayed on staff until 2001. His desire to specialize led him to enroll at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he completed a Masters of Science degree in Endodontics in 2004 and began practicing Endodontics in New Jersey.
He is a member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Chow grew up in Canada and now resides in his new home in Los Altos, California with his wife Elaine and their two children. He enjoys motorcycling, golfing and skiing.
Dr. Saehee Kim
Dr. Kim received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a one-year general practice residency(GPR) at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York City. She then started practicing as a general dentist for four years at Tribecca, New York City. She became quite interested in Endodontics which led her to pursue postdoctoral specialty training in Endodontics at Temple University in Philadelphia.
During her specialty training, Dr. Kim published a systemic review of the cervical plexus accessory innervation which has significant implications for dental anesthesia. In addition to private practice, she is a clinical instructor at University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Kim is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics(ABE), as well as an active member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Association of Endodontists.
In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys activities such as hiking, pilates and golfing.
Dr. Pavneet Bains is a native Californian, growing up in Sacramento. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Biological Sciences, and then attended Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bains excelled in her dental education and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and received the Distinguished Clinical Excellence Award.
After receiving her dental degree, Dr. Bains gained experience practicing as a general and restorative dentist in Florida for 6 years. She prides herself on being a great communicator and compassionate provider. Following her time in Florida, Dr. Bains then entered the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and received her certificate in endodontics and Master of Science degree. During her specialty training, she published her research on endodontic radiography, which has significant implications for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Dr. Bains is an active member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association and American Association of Endodontists. She has also successfully completed the oral and written board examinations and is well on her way to board certification.
When not at the office, Dr. Bains enjoys exploring with her husband, Rajeev (a Bay Area native) and spending time with her family. She also enjoys food, tea, and physical fitness. She couldn't be more excited to be back home and serving her local community!
